After the success of our summer workshops, we are offering workshops this winter in Shakespeare, monologues, singing, stage combat, stage makeup, memorization, auditioning, directing, and more!
For more information, workshop descriptions, and a schedule of events, please look at the pages on our Workshops tab above. Workshops start Monday, December 31st, so hurry and sign up now! Merry Christmas ACTT Members! We will be having an ACTT Christmas Party on December 21st, 5 p.m. at 2090 Shetland Path High Ridge, MO. It is going to be a fun time to celebrate Christmas with your second family. We will be playing some Christmas-themed games, as well as some improvisational games. If you want to play Rob your Neighbor, please bring a $5 (or less) gift to participate. Please RSVP below to let us know you are coming to the party. Members will get free pizza and snacks. If non-members would like to attend, we would love to have you but we ask that you bring $5 to help pay for food. Guests are welcome but we do need to know how many you will be bringing. We hope to see you all soon at our first ACTT Christmas Party!! Dear friends,
We are currently hard at work on our winter production of Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution and we're asking for a little help from you and the Kickstarter website. If you don't know what Kickstarter is, let me explain: Kickstarter is a way for people to get funding for a project they have. Kickstarter hosts a page for our project on their site and people can pledge money to that project to help make it happen. If the project succeeds in reaching its funding goal, (our goal is $500) all backers are charged when time expires. If the project falls short, no one is charged. Funding on Kickstarter is all-or-nothing. Projects can exceed their funding goal; they just can't fall short. Donors, or backers, will receive a reward for donating various amounts. These are visible on the project page. Some include a signed poster, a production t-shirt, or even the chance to replace the name of the murder victim in the play with a name of your choice! We will use this money to cover the various costs that this production will incur, including performance rights, printing costs for scripts/programs/posters, set materials, props, costumes, and various other technical needs. You don't have to give a lot -- you can give as little as $1. Any help we can get would be much appreciated. Our project will only be funded if at least $500 is pledged by Friday Dec 28, 12:00am CST, so please help us make this happen. If you have any questions about this or anything else, please email [email protected]. |
