Please join us on March 26th at 6:00 PM at the Freedom Masonic Temple for this funny mystery. Join the members of Puzzles Inc. as they try to solve the Mystery of the Tiki Terror Ghost, and find out which one of YOU murdered Big Ed Kahuna. Our first performance at the Arcadia Academy was a smashing success. Your admission includes dinner and the show. Dinner will be plain Hawaiian salad, chicken teriyaki, corn on the cob, baked sweet potatoes, green beans, desert, iced tea, punch, coffee and MURDER. Audience participation is voluntary, but it's always more fun to join in. For reservations please contact Charles Huey at 314-920-5472 by March 19th. $30.00 per Person. Then join us at 4557 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129, and see if you can solve the case.
Our 2016 show season is underway! By all accounts the Dinner Murder Mystery Theatre show is going well. The show is titled "Now I Lei Me Down to Sleep". The first show will be at Arcadia Academy on February 27. The next show will be at Freedom Masonic Temple on Saturday March 26. I hope you can make one of these two performances. The price is $30.00 per person, and includes dinner and the show. 1/3 of the profits go to the troupe, so come out and have a good time.
Our next meeting is March 19 at 2:00 PM at the Urgent Care. I hope you will come out and give your input. Of paramount importance is the selection for the next Shakespeare in the Park show. Please email your suggestions for which play we should produce to [email protected].. Hand in hand with the selection of the show, is the selection of a production team. We need a director, assistant director, technical director, assistant technical director, stage manager, costumes, sets, props, ets. We need to put this team together, so we can move forward. If you are interested in serving in one of these positions, please email your interest, the position you would like, and your theatrical vitae to [email protected]. The team will then set times for auditions, and rehearsals. We are also hoping to do the annual one act festival in August, a Halloween Play (probably Dracula) in October, and a holiday play in December. That means we need venues. I realize this is a constant struggle for the troupe, so your assistance is earnestly solicited. Please give us your ideas, make some calls, and try and help us to find good locations to put on plays within a minimal budget. I again wish to thank last year's board for their continued help and support, and this year's board for their enthusiastic commitment to seeing the troupe grow. Mike Singer, Jr. A.C.T.T. President |
