Hello everyone!
I know we're all looking forward to Witness for the Prosecution this winter, but we've actually got another, less formal, ACTT performance coming up in October! It's the ACTT Community Variety Show and we'd love for you, your family and friends to showcase your talents in it :) So, what do you need to do? (Because I KNOW you want to sign up.) You need to come up with an act (singing, dancing, comedy routine, a sketch, monologue, etc.) and fill out this form to sign up. The performance will be the weekend of Oct 19/20 (pending acceptance by our venue). As of right now there are no auditions, but if we receive too many entries, we will be holding auditions for ACTT acts (say that five times fast...) around Sept 22. You will be in charge of rehearsing on your own, but we'll be checking up on your act Oct 8/9 to make sure you're prepared for the show. There will also be two dress rehearsals before the performance weekend to help establish the flow between acts. I do believe that's it! So go sign up!! Much love, Madam Secretary

The director for Witness for the Prosecution will be Michael Fitzgerald and the technical director will be Keith Henderson. We would like to thank everyone that applied for either of these positions. Keith is interested in working with and/or training any volunteers who are interested in any aspect of technical theatre (lights, sound, set, etc.), so if you are interested, email [email protected].
We are still looking for help for our show committee, which helps with all of the background organizational tasks that will need to happen for this production to happen. To sign up for the show committee or just for more information, visit the Witness for the Prosecution page. Also be on the lookout for audition information coming soon. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]. If you are still interested in applying to be the director or technical director for Witness for the Prosecution, you only have a few days left. Applications are due THIS SATURDAY THE 18th!! If interested follow the links on the Witness for the Prosecution page. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to email [email protected].
Thanks so much for everyone that came to our performance of The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon by Don Zolidis. More than 200 people attended over the past weekend raising over $1500 for ACTT!! For more information and pictures, see the Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon page.
The winners of the drawing for filling out a survey were Rhonda Collins, Eva Rosenthal, and Elise Bertani. They each won a book of Brothers Grimm fairy tales. The winner of the 50/50 raffle was Phil Cheney. It's now time to think about our winter show, Witness for the Prosecution. We are currently looking for people to join the show committee to help organize everything. We are also looking for a director and a technical director. For applications and more information, visit the Witness for the Prosecution page. |
